New Styx Album

I was at a bbq this past 4th of july and my buddy busted out with Styx's new Album, Big Bang Theory. now i use to be a fan back in the day but i didn't even know they came out with a new album. it was a bunch of cover songs but surprisingly it was pretty good. "I am the walrus' was pretty good. i kinda miss Styx, good to hear them. anybody else hear the new album yet?

Well Rush have a new album where they have reverted to their roots and apparently cover blues/rock standards. I liked Styx also but Im not sure I want to hear covers. New materiel maybe.

My girlfriend's father gave me a bunch of his old albums he was getting rid of, and one of them was "Equinox" by Styx. I listened. I laughed.

I haven't listened to the album, per se, but I have listened to clips from all the songs. Sounds surprisingly good . Much better than there last album, a pile of crap called Cyclorama .

I don't need anything too fancy, just something that can get me to the sun and back in 5 seconds flat.

I wanna see a comparison test between the Saleen SR, Lamborghini Gallardo, Ford GT, and Ferrari Challange Stradale. Anyone wanna help me with that? I already know who'd win, though ;).

If you want to hear a kickin band nail some covers note for note you should hear Dream Theatres "A Change of Seasons" It has a section done live at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London which has te following-

Funeral For A Friend - Elton John
Love Lies Bleeding - Elton John
Perfect Strangers - Deep Purple
The Rover - Led Zep
Achilles Last Stand - Led Zep
The Song Remains The Same - Led Zep
The Big Medley including covers of Journey and Kansas plus others.

I hate Styx. I despise them. I just can't stand their sound. It's like fingernails on a blackboard. I had to covermy head with a pillow when they came to Summerfest.
