Hmmm, can you guess what mine is?

Like the rest of you, I can't wait for Day 5. I hope it lives up to the standards that have been set. After the first series I don't think anyone thought they'd ever live up to it, but they just about did it(though I still think series 1 is the best so far). With each subsequent series I've been expecting it to fail miserably and disappoint as always seems to happen with long running shows at some point, but the standard has been kept astonishingly high. A real testament to the quality of the writers, producers, directors and actors.

I think Days 2 and 3 got a little goofy with the constant plot twists. And I only saw the last 7-8 hours of Day 4. I've gotta steal the DVDs from my dad tomorrow so I can watch all of it. Season 1 is by far my favorite.

Yeah, Day 2 especially got a little annoying with the ridiculous sub-plots involving Kim. Although she did spend most of the time running around in a VERY tight white t-shirt ( ) I lost patience when she got caught in a cougar trap and was rescued by some nutcase survivalist! I thought the main plot in 2 was excellent though. Day 3 was let down slightly by the weakness of the main bad guy, Saunders. They seemed to use the classic Hollywood assumption that if you have a guy talking in a plummy English accent it'll automatically make him evil!

My favourite comedy is Coupling; not the bastardised american version though. the English one is genuinely hilarious, and it's really quite good.

As for Dramas; I can't go past E.R. Personally; i like my Medical shows....

As hot as she is, Kim irritates me. How the F do you get caught by terrorists so many times in one day; then get a babysitting job for a guy you think is a terrorist, but it's really his wife-to-be, and you kidnap his child, get arrested for murder, and end up in the woods with a psycho? Seriously...

Other good ones: Mash, Fawlty Towers, Tatort, Jiskefet, Flikken (giving you something to chew about, and no, not everything of that is old, it is only not English/American, because there is also non-anglo saxon TV around )

Fawlty Towers, Monty Python, 24, Simpsons (not all seasons) Top Gear and I really liked Ally McBeal. Been a long time since I've seen it though.

And so many others... I couldn't really say what the "best show ever" is.

I've seen a lot of people liked Prison Break, a really good show but hardly showing brutal prison life quite like "Oz" (my personal fav. TV show), opposite of which would be "Porridge" .... from yrs and yrs ago. (wonder if anyone else besides Matra remembers ). Fastlane deserves a mention in here somewhere also.

Comedy shows ...
Married ... with Children
Home Improvement
Family Guy
