E30! E30! E30!

It's better at all that matters. Running costs are so sensible...

the CRX is sufficiently quirky/funky/90's tentacle rape japanese to suit regi prefectly though. that is also what makes it a hard choice. they're not exactly bad to drive either.

well going on that basis, CRX. because you've had an E30 before, try something else?

On the Flip a Clean E30 is actually not hard to find at all. Provided the price is right.....

CRX's are rare in unmolested guises.

Worth a look for sure. That is too good a price for something like that though...I smell stitch up.

Keyless entry in 1989?

I like the idea of having already tried and E30, try something else. You could buy another E30 whe you can afford an M3. (Were they available in Australia actually?)

The E30 one was not (LHD only).

I'm seriously warming to the E30 again....I can totally see why I fell in love with it in the first instance....This is a good example.

Convertible?

or Coupe?

there's a whole bunch that was converted, though.
but the E36 M3 goes for so much less.
and no convertible. coupe.
i will check out that 320i though, maybe arrange some parts to make it a 2.7L

E30 will be a sound choice as far as the petrolhead inside you is concerned.

Get the engine from the convertible in the coupe bodyshell.

E30s are wonderful.. my old '85 323i is still going, being abused and neglected. It's done something like 370k kms.. still going strong. Well, mostly strong.

I'm still struggling to come to terms with my desire for an awesome car vs. my need to travel next year.

Whatever I buy can't cost me money. it has to be covered by Ingrids sale......
