I think thats it, i just know i turned off down the tourist drive just outside Lithgow. I could tell the car had crappy budget tyres with worn shoulders going through those bends..

So i've been looking around a little further (it's amazing - the moment you look for a car the market dries up.....) and i've come across this.

Thoughts/Comments?

Mazda 626 V6 Sedan
There's nothing wrong with Mazda 626/Telstar - especially the V6 ones - PROVIDING they have been serviced. Mazda engines do not like poor servicing. Falc's mate probably got one that hadn't been looked after.

Hey - nothing wrong with Camry's at Bathurst. Back in the late nineties that exact shape Camry V6 managed to beat several Falcon XR6s/Commodore V6s in a couple production car races that were held there.

Besides - its a set of wheels. Much, much better set of wheels than I owned/drove at any point prior to 2001...... I'd have a Camry V6 over heaps of cars. Beats walking - or driving a Hyundai/Daewoo, etc, etc. Not that I am planning to buy one or anything.

I think it's somewhere in Spain. Probably a tough day at work by Iberian standards.

Seems ive been beaten to the idea, although the visual effect is slightly different when its the trailor doing the sliding, looks more dangerous and out of control then. Im surprised they dont lower the pressure for the tyres when theyve got nothing on the trailor, although i suppose they'd need to take a compressor around with them then.

So you've got permission to buy an "old man's car" now? Anyway, I doubt you'd be tempted to modify a Fairlane....
