In that case your company makes mistakes If the coding is pure without any other crap it works perfectly under firefox. IE has less effort with it,as you noticed

erm, drakkie, you may need to be a little more objective abut FF limitations and issues especially regarding CSS Style Sheets !!!

Last time I checked, IE didn't support *.png images. Firefox does. Is this still the case? If the internet revolved around PNGs, it would be a much faster place

IE has supported png for YEARS. Where are you getting your info ??

They REALLY screw up in not supporting the optional transparency features of png though at the start and making so many screw ups on the (nearly there) way .... granted.
BUT, png was a competing technology for interlacing that dated back from when gif was still licensed and jpegs weren't very good. I dont' really saee the place for pngs .... ( I suspect Bill wasn't wanting to support it coz then it would be a "competing" image format not of his making OR the real reason is it was NOT an internationally agreed industry standard liek jpeg, mpeg

and if you're on PNG then notice that no browser yet natively supports MNG which is the extension to PNG to support multiple images like GIF does !!!
