United 93

Well.....i just got back home from the new movie United 93

All I can say is that it is THE ABSOLUTE BEST movie I have ever seen in my life. It is so incredibly real and authentic...words cannot describe the amount of emotion you will see and feel in the movie. You have to understand, I consider myself a pretty solid person, and so do others around me. I have never cried once in my life from a movie...today was different...i admit i cried..i was even sweating bad...it was INSANE!

I really dont have anything else to say about it right now...except that I highly recommend that you all see it.

offensive? no, that lady is mistaken, they havent seen the movie

heres what i would say...the movie is very graphic, violent, powerful, and most of all emotional....you will see actual footage of the twin towers being hit, you hear recordings of highjackers...its all very disturbing, but i forced myself to watch it so as my own way to pay my respects to the victoms

when you see the people fight back..... i lost it(cried)....i wanted to be on that plane breaking the guys neck in my arms....thats all im gonna say

go watch the movie!

I hope the movie doesn't lose it's objectivity as much as that.
They showed the trailer only for the comments for sure, but HOW can her comment about it beging offensive to her be wrong ?? The guy pointed out they got MORE NEGATIVE comemnts than positive. Were tehy all wrong ? Or maybe not as politically leaning as the supoprters of it, or maybe it IS too close to the event for some who wre close to it.

Since I heard the way the flight was portrayed in the US media after 9/11 and hearing about the movie and the repetition of them as "heroes" I DO feel a sadness for the families of the other two flights. THey may well have been JUST as heroic - or even more - just not successful.

Intend to. To see how they portray the people and their feelings. Hopefully with respect and truth.

your right, maybe it could be offensive to some people, it may be too soon for some, however it is out now, and i felt moved to see it asap
they were successful, they protected the capital...i know what you mean though..its very sad

i was trying soooooooo freaking hard to not cry, and at the last 30 minutes i had zero control over it....i can't describe it

I am curious to see the movie, I think it might be too soon, I watched the TLC program that diseccted the flight and I don't know if they need a movie yet. I won't say they are trying to profit off the tragedy, but why make a movie so soon? I think I will see it though.

I really want to see it, I live just over 5 miles from NYC and could see the smoke from my bed room window. I heard that the families of the victims on flight 93 say its a good time for the movie to debut because people are beginning to forget and move on from 911, and they need to be reminded that the terrorists are still out there. But yeh, i cant wait to see the movie, i agree that its deff a way to honor them by understanding what they did.

the sooner we ignore terrorists the sooner they'll stop bombing you....
terrorists WANT to be noticed... that's their point, they want people to feel TERROR....

they're terrorists, not an annoying little brother.

i just got back form seeing this movie, i thought it was uber boring until about the point where he assembles the bomb on the plain, then it was fist clenching and gripping for the duration, really, the last half hour was an amazing film.

i'll be perfectly frank, my first emotions were to tackle the first muslim i saw outside the cinema. i know its completely wrong but thats how i felt. then i didnt know what to think, about 5 mins from the end i realised i was sitting there with my mouth hanging open and my fists clenching my pants...

Not really the way i had meant to put it...

I meant to say that this would make people feel scared, paranoid... and the fact that you wanted to strangle the first muslim you saw kinda proves my point....
