good point. tyres are £75-125 (about $150-250) a corner on my car. However your obviously looking at decent tyres at that price, not just micheln sport premacys (what i am currently running) or something.

The RX-8s a non-common size 245/45x18 and is termperamental to the tyre wall compliance So cheap tyres guarantee an off Bridgestones latest RE-050 is the preferred one at £130 each. Others have tried Pirellis/Michelins up to £300 a corner and found the handling not improved !!

Are the RX-8s front and rear tires identical at least considering the unusual sizes?

yes and if you mix the sizes - ending up altering the contact patch - then the stability control computer gets very confused
So same size all round.

Thats good. During my search for prices and locations that had the tire, I had numerous conversations with fella's who had never herd of the size before. Some had me going out to the car and rereading the tire size and speed ratings before stating that he didnt have the tire.

By the way also a pretty fancy dinner for my girlfriend yesterday. Very romantic and nice. Not so nice for Mr. Wallet though, 90 euro.

Gits. I just paid £10 for 9.65 litres of diesel - that's over $20USD!

Almost every gas station here has camera's aimed at the license plates. You will get a bill when you don't pay, plus the costs of claiming it, which are around the same.. I hope you aussies don't have that stuff yet
