Bought some stuff for cleaning the cars.

Farecla G10

2 GAP's

3 rolls of 3M tape

PB Trim remover

Autosmart Tardis - Tar and Glue remover

Jeff's Shampoo wash

Microfibre cloth

And some PB's Blue wax with Carnuba.

Just wondering, how do you remove bumper stickers from the bumper without scratching the paint if you needed to?

Put a hairdryer to the sticker, if some glue is left, spray the area with some Tar and Glue remover, then if there is light scratches (but there shouldnt me), maybe some G10 finishing compound.

Stick a coat of wax over it then job done.

Dont keep the hairdryer on it for too long though. A heat gun would also do the trick but be even more careful!

As Adam said ... pre-treating with soapy hot water helps too.

MOST improtant is to put lots of wax on BEFORE applying temporary vinyls and dont leave them on too long !!!

I see. Yeah, the paint may discolor unevenly if the sticker is on too long.

About the interior window stickers, are they a static cling (removable, and reapplyable). or a regular reverse sticker? and yes I may have just made that word up.

btw. I just recieved 5 when I ordered one! Good stuff.

true ... but the bigger problem is that as the glue and vinyl age they become harder to get off !!

The stickers that you see on some car forecourts, saying like Diesel, Turbo-diesel, or finance offers etc across the windscreen are all static cling. But most dealer stickers are reverse stickers.

EDIT : Thought you were talking about something else. I imagine the UCP ones will me reverse stickered.

do you know selfridges sell lucky charms for something like £10 a box? they import them at like a super low price, then rip us off! why dont we get all the E-number filled goodness that america gets? I'm pretty sure lucky charms were banned or something because they had some e-number that is now illegal in the UK. not surprising considering the colours but it is teh best cereal evar.
