I'm embarking on a program of trying to see how much I can get out of the tank of fuel in my bike, my current riding style isn't the best for economy...

I just measured my car this last week. EPA estimates are 32mpg/38hwy for my car I believe... I got 34.3mpg driving in streets & highway every day, can't complain.

It's a 2001 Honda Civic Lx. I don't shift at minimum rpms to get the most out of it, I'd say I drive like an average person.

I have cycled to work every day so far (since i satrted this new job 2 weeks ago) so not only do i feel healthy my wallet is too , truth be told the 12 mile round journey each day and a tough day at work shatters me.

When i do drive i am getting 30-40 mpg, however a slight whiff of petrol is telling me the petrol tank filler neck is coroding again..

Technically, yeah...but I've always written it in my records the Euro way with commas since that's how I learned it. Force of habit.

I can't tell you how many times that's caused me grief in math classes...

Usually Oostvoorne, The Netherlands
My dad and I drove an average of 1 l :16 km on the stretch of Autobahn from Berlin - Oostvoorne. A pretty decent average I'd say considering our different driving styles and stop-over in Wolfsburg.

Offcourse this was in our C5 1.8

With school this week we burned 150 liters of petrol a day I've been standing at the gas pump so often this week, filling jerrycans.

Got my consumption down to 15.6l/100km today after a day of thrashing it. Doesn't make sense to me either.
