Ultimate Car Page Wikipedia

Well I was thinking a couple months ago about writing a Wikipeida article about Ultimate Car Page but then I forgot and nothing got done on it. Wikipeida already has at least two links to this website so I figured it would be proper to add this website to Wikipedia's databse as it seems siginifigant enough to be an article - also an unintended effect may be a slight increase in traffic to this website which would be good for Wouter surely - I'm not saying this should be like an advertisement for UCP as that would be against Wikipedia's policy and would also just be wrong but there is nothing wrong with letting people know about this site and informing them about it.

Anyways, you may know from talking to me that I am not the best writer in the world so I figured I may not be the best choice to write the article - but I gladly would if no-one else wants to - I'm just concerned with making the article professional and for it to be a good Wikipedia article.

Most of the knowledge needed to write the article is readily available, like the start date, the forums, what UCP is all about, the shop, news features, all that crap - and I bet if any more info were needed the mods would help add more.

Well, I just wanted to make this happen and maybe this will lead to something good! Give me your ideas and feedback and we'll see where it goes!

I reckon a good way to go about it would be to do a draft copy on this page here, with people adding the points they would like to see included, and a mod editing a main post that can be constantly updated, until eventually we reach a finished article.

Well, after carefully reading Wikipedia's guidelines, it looks like there may be a slight problem. Everything seems OK, except for the fact that information from only the source is not allowed. To make the page, there needs to be more than just information form the source - ie. Ultimatecarpage.com. There is probably a way around this and I don't think it is fully necessary, I will check some more.

Hopefully. I;ve read the manual of style, the guide to making a new page, and stuff like that so I have a good idea what the article should be like. I am also looking at other pages as I think the best idea would be to simply use the other page as a template to make the UCP article. Example: of a site I chose at random to base ours off:

Even still, the only SOURCE information would be the webpage itself which is sorta frowned upon in Wikipedia - I think we can still do it but it would be better if there were some verifiable source that had information about this website somewhere else on the web for example. One thing is for sure, Wouter can't make the page!
