nr Edinburgh, Whisky-soaked Scotland
Scotland.
Very affordable housing in Central Belt. Only 15 mins from either Glasgow or Edinburgh and best of all only 30-60 mins from the best roads in the world.
Fishing, climbing, walking.
What "career" do you envisage ?
IT service management, computing, games research development. Advanced electronics design, finance, insurance, banking, oil. Not much in the bottom/middle rung as we're growing immigration filling those

Best of all the weather ensures your skin and body are properly moisturised !!

Well, if you have the good luck to live in Paris' poorest suburb, on one of those very day cars burn (something like a five days every two or three years), then why not...

But at least there's almost no snow!

Yep, that's a train fighting its way through snow.

I wish we had that too...

On topic, education here is free and living isn't too expensive except for Helsinki. Then again, there's hardly anything to see, especially to someone from Canada.
