Stoneleigh 2008

Ok, its that time of year again.
Every year i ask if any of the British members want to meet at this car show and i always manage to fail. So this year, with plenty of notice, maybe i can tempt some people.

Its the Stoneleigh National Kit Car Show and is held at the Agricultural Show Grounds just south of Coventry. It will be running on the 4th and 5th of May but will also be open on the 3rd for manufacturers and clubs to setup which is when i will get there. Its the biggest kit car show of them all and plays host to pretty much every manufacturer and also the Catherham live action slalom. I don't know how much it will cost to get in for the day but if anyone fancies camping with me, my friends and car club then its £25 for the three days which includes everything. This year its being opened by Richard Hammond and is shaping up to be a great weekend (weather permitting! ).

So anyone fancy it? For a car enthusiast i don't think it can get any better since practically no two cars are the same.

Ok, so it hasn't been a failure every year. That was quite cool when we met Peter, but it was quite a while ago now.

Anyone else?

For admission alone its £99 for both days. That obviously doesn't include seats in the grandstands for watching the cars. Those can run close to £200.

Makes £25 for three days and two nights camping at Stoneleigh seem a massive bargain.
