yeah, the wild duck can be way too gamey. its better if its farmed. enough gameyness to have some good flavor, but not overpowering.

on a side note, we used to sell our ducks to a local chinese restaurant for about 3$ a piece. they turned and sold them for about 20$ a plate! so someone must like them...although they went out of business after a couple years so maybe not haha
