its an earlier model of the SR 71. i think they have 7 or 8 different kinds of blackbirds. each one improving on the next. the A12 was the first one but it flew the highest and fastest. it was impractical because of areodynamics. the flaps would bend at high speed to turn so it was difficult to controll it going average speed. then there was a 'double decker model' that had two cockpits that looked like they were shagging

i saw a viper yesterday and today i wasnt expecting to see much but thankfully i brought my camera. coming back from church i saw the same bently continental GT that i saw in my driveway come out of my neighborhood, then pulled into chillies and there was an AC 645 with loinheart rims. (sexy) then right when we pulled out i saw an R32 with body kits, and exhaust with the licence plate '9 rice' owner saw me taking a picture and conversation followed:

me: 'is this yours?"
him: 'yhea'
me: 'nice'
him: 'you know what it means?'
me: 'yhea (chuckles) you seen the new golf'
him: 'yhea, i actually drove one. handles well but doesnt come out for another year here'
me: 'ah nice cya later'
(he was a 38^ish)
i got into the lex and he shot off, BBS rims and actualy areo kit. nothing ricey about it. nice exhaurt note too

then saw a V12 vanquish on rt7. snapped some shots. awesome exhaust note. same on i got to sit in at the Aston dealer on rt 7. guy bought it with 10k miles on it

I saw an orange Focus ST and a silver Lancer Evo 8 today. And that's a lot if you live in a midsize Finnish town with a population of ~80000.

An 8 series with the E39's V8, and E60's wheels?

The engine sounds cool, but the E60 wheels would make it look silly, imo.

Nah, it looked pretty decent.

Falls Church (home), Charlottesville (college), Virginia, USA
So I was coming home from college today, exams are over and all that. Anyway, my dad's driving and I'm in the back seat of the Windstar, and we're taking the scenic route (central Virginia is really quite nice). I saw a fair amount of classic Americans (Dodge Dart, '56 Chevy Bel Air, Chevy Nova, Chevy Impala, a Chevy Corvette Stingray), but that's not too unusual. In the town of Orange we take a wrong turn, so we pull into a parking lot to make a U-turn and sitting right there is a white Campagna T-Rex !! I've never seen one before, and I certainly wouldn't expect to find one in Orange, VA. It was by far the highlight of my day .
