The Authorized Mechanixfetch Traffic Violation Census
It's back A 100% bonafide Authorised Mechanixfetch Census. This time we're focusing on Traffic Violations, this is a car fourm and most of us who browse here are somewhat into cars and might sometimes drive a little too fast or otherwise be foolish with our cars. So here are the Census Questions
How many times have you been pulled over? What for? Ticketed? Roughly how many road blocks have you ever been through? Have you ever been Breathalyzed?(sp?) How many points are on your liscence? Ever been suspended? What was your most expensive ticket? What was it for? Have you ever fought a ticket? Did you win? And as always only answer the questions you want to answer. We're not here to judge. Well not too harshly

Yes, Yes, No (the cop forgot his ticket book at the station and saw I had a pizza to deliver), Yes Roughly how many road blocks have you ever been through? 4 Have you ever been Breathalyzed?(sp?) No How many points are on your liscence? 3 Ever been suspended? No What was your most expensive ticket? $115 CDN What was it for? Speed against a Highway Sign (91km/h in a 50 zone) Have you ever fought a ticket? Yes Did you win? Yes the cop failed to attend

 .... tho a lot less in the last 12 or 13 yrs (total yrs driving is 19)What for? Speeding, careless, excessive noise, obstructing a highway (would have been racing if we hadn't seen him in time), emissions (drove back home from the track with open headers ) ... mostly speeding thoTicketed? No insurance (back around 1986) Have you ever fought a ticket? Yes Did you win? About 60% of the time

How many times have you been pulled over? Twice.
What for? First- Speeding (72/55), failure to yield, something else I don't remember. He could've added failure to present documentation, as I couldn't find my registration/POI. Second- Speeding (83/65) Ticketed? Only on the 2nd one. Roughly how many road blocks have you ever been through? I avoid them like the plague. Have you ever been Breathalyzed?(sp?) No How many points are on your liscence? 4 Ever been suspended? No What was your most expensive ticket? $158.75 What was it for? That 83/65 ticket. Have you ever fought a ticket? No. Did you win? No.

What for? speedin and......speedin(1 warning 50 on 40mph, 1 ticket 45 on 30) Ticketed? 1 Roughly how many road blocks have you ever been through? none(but many traffic jams, damn rush hour time) Have you ever been Breathalyzed?(sp?)no How many points are on your liscence? 0 Ever been suspended? no What was your most expensive ticket? $130 What was it for? speedin 45/30 Have you ever fought a ticket? no Did you win? probably would have.(officer didn't show up as far as i remember) thats in 2-1/2 years of drivin.

What for? Speeding (50 in a 30mph zone), passenger was throwing fire-works out the window, cutting off a sheriffe van..oops Ticketed? Yes, once. Roughly how many road blocks have you ever been through?I think three. Have you ever been Breathalyzed?(sp?) No. How many points are on your liscence? Oddly, I don't know. Not worried about it, I'm a respective drive (well, I do go over the speed limite when there is no traffic) Ever been suspended? No. What was your most expensive ticket? $80. What was it for? Speeding. Have you ever fought a ticket? No. Did you win? There are so many people that win here just because the police officer doesn't show up.

What for? Taking an illegal escape route to get out of a traffic jam, red light violation (honestly thought it was still yellow ), after signalling and trying to convince a motorcycle cop that he was speeding and driving dangerously.Ticketed? Yes, speeding 5 times (at least), red light 2 times, parking 1. Roughly how many road blocks have you ever been through?10 approx. Have you ever been Breathalyzed?(sp?) Yes, three times, always sober. How many points are on your liscence? We don't have such a system Ever been suspended? No. What was your most expensive ticket? 138 Euro, What was it for? Speeding in Belgium going to Spa-Francorchamps (for UCP) Have you ever fought a ticket? No. Did you win? comment: taking into account that my license dates from the 10th of May 1967, this seems not to be such a bad record.

What for? 1st Speeding, 2nd for not comming to a complete stop at a stop sign. Which was a total lie BTW. Ticketed? 1st Yes, 2nd Yes. Roughly how many road blocks have you ever been through? Can't remember, maybe 3 or 4. Have you ever been Breathalyzed?(sp?) No How many points are on your liscence? Mexico doesn't have the point system. Ever been suspended? No What was your most expensive ticket? $500.00 Canadian Dollars What was it for? For the speeding ticket, I was doing 130 kph in a 60 kph zone near Shannonville in a friends Audi Quattro Coupé. He was in the car with me. Have you ever fought a ticket? Yes, the 2nd one. Did you win? I lost.
