You really aren't very observant

True, it has calmed down a bit lately. But there's plenty going on really. There's also plenty going on behind the scenes too. This forum is anything but dead. People have their lives to lead too and other commitments. It's quiter at certain times that's all.
Plus, you can't really say much since you've only posted 15 times .

There's nothin' to be observant about! I hadn't posted on here for about 3 weeks or so, maybe longer, and now I'm back, it all still looks the same without any new threads, and that's the reason why I've only posted 15 times. I don't see anythin' much bein' built, or any WIP threads at all.

Today alone theres been atleast 10 new threads. "it all still looks the same without any new threads" seems a tad of an overstatement

wow yea you could've said that in the begining. This is a car forum, not everyone here is into makig kits although we do have many who do enjoy the process. You should go to a dedicated forum if your sole purpose is kits

Well, to pass some time whilst you wait, I recommend you go on the UCP Tour Guide

Please make a special note to go to the Miscellaneous section and the Hi-Res Hideout! 2 places where there will definitely be some activity on a good day.

It all depends on when you're online. For me (in East-coast America), this forum is dead slow at like 8 p.m., because all of the European members are sleeping, and the Aussies haven't woken up yet. For you in Britain, you probably have that same problem in the early afternoon.

By WIP threads, do you mean chop threads or model-building?

EDIT: The model-building sub-forum is like 1% of UCP, I just noticed your post. If you want to post all day about kits, find a kits forum.

There is a deadness to the general forum...To the best of my recollection Im sure there used to be more action. Maybe that was when I was a hyperactive little junior member who wanted to post everywhere :P
But..go to the main page, www.ultimatecarpage.com, look in the "Latest forum threads:"
There are threads there that have existed for days...
Like the "Norcal Vacation Pics (Mclaren F1, S7, F50 etc...)"
How long has that been there?

Am I right? Or just crazy?
