Complete* Pozzi Ferrari 599GTB

This is Fujimi's 599 kit converted to race and liveried in the historic Pozzi Daytona livery. I had a extra set of not so good Scale Design decals and I thought the scheme would look good on the 599 shape.

Began with a base coat of TS26 Pure White then the front is painted with TS10 French Blue, the red is Testors Lacquer red. Top coat is TS13 clear polished. Wheel color is Alclad pale gold.

I cobbled together several parts for the project. The wheels are Aoshima 19" Volk GTV, tires are Tamiya slicks. Roll cage and race seat are from 430 Challenge and wing is from Tamiya's wing set. Front spoiler, winglets and exhaust from parts box. Fuel filler is by Sakatsu, seat belts are Modelers.

The build itself is straight forward, I only glued the wheels in a slightly lower position.

You are very talented. Hoping that I can critique without seeming disrespectful.... The only part I would change is the exhaust. I would prefer it a little darker and a little shorter. Do you ever sell your cars? If so I am interested.

You should be making the prototypes for the likes of Tamiya and AutoArt

Superb built as ever, my only criticism is of an ethical nature, it somehow does not look right to see the name of a deceased driver (Ballot Lena died in 1999) on a car that he could never have piloted.....

i'm not sure if you're aware of the fact it's a copy of legendary 365 gtb/4 daytona competizione exhaust, just as the livery

to me it's a brilliant idea, superbly built, congrats
