Classic japan car kits!!!

Recently I have been reading & searching alot about classic Japanese cars like the 1st Gen GTR, Fairlady Z, old Celicas, Laurels, Mark II, etc....and I stumbled onto these little Model Kits of Classic Japanese cars....It looks like some are parts from other models & some are just full models but Im not forsure.....I do know that some of them are modeled after "Bosozoku" style cars that Japanese ppl used to do to real cars, with the crazy long nose areo kits and small wheels & tires with crazy offset and negative camber...anyway...

I was wondering if anyone knew where you can purchase these kits at or know any information about them, thanks....

So Bosozoku is more or less similar to 60's American cars being transformed in lowriders?

Interesting, but I'd rather keep these classics intact. But since they are kits... why not. Not my cup of tea though.

Well, Japanese people seems to love being different. There are a lot of subcultures and whatnot (especially in Tokyo), so it's not surprising to find such awkward tuning...

Your telling me...very awkward tuning to say the least...like you said I would rather keep them more classic looking....there are some first Gen GTR's that are fixed up to race and they look and sound really good...but there not considered "Bosozoku".

Yeah, I'm with Fiset. I'd much rather keep them stock than to lower these cars and add chrome wheels.

Sorry CamNismo, I woudl assume that the models are modified standard kits.

Might be worth brosing the japanese kit web sites.
not sure if this is one of the cars you're looking for 1/24 Toyota Chaser Avente Twincam 24

Remember CN, to a Japanese enthusiast the idea of putting huge wheels on a SUV and spinners are equally as horrific
