FIAT Barchetta, tuned!

This is Fujimi's Lightweight Sports version which came with 18" wheels but they are too big for this car so I dropped to XS Tuning 17" wheels and XS brakes. The wheels are painted with Testors Magnesium buffing metalizer.

It's painted with Tamiya AS12 and cleared with TS13. The seats and door panels were sprayed with TS12 Orange straight on to the black plastic, it settled in it's own pattern with one coat so I left it. I masked the orange and airbrushed PolyScale Oily Black on the rest of the interior parts.

I painted the carpet black and accented the interior with aluminum metalizer. The roll bar is from the Aoshima Miata Exe kit and painted to match the wheels.

The headlight bezels and tail pipes are painted with Alclad chrome. MV lenses were used for the headlights and I did my own color scheme for the tail lights.

It's a nice kit overall with no fitting problems.

Good stuff, got this kit lying around somewhere, nice to hear that the fit is good, not usual for modern Fujimi kits

it is a very nice model. i presume most of the models you have posted are 1/18's, or are they 1/24's?

All 1/24 plastic models kits except for the Z4 which is a rebuilt 1/24 diecast.
