Custom Porsche Boxster in progress.
This is the Tamiya Boxster with GT3 body work. I didn't like the way that the GT3 had no body extensions around the rear section so I glued on a lower bumper from a Viper. I did a little sculpting to the Viper piece so it would blend with the GT3 styling.
I added a center fin in the side scoops so they will match the GT3 front grill openings. The Whale tail is from an old Porsche 911 kit and the headrests are from the Special Edition Boxster. The lowered suspension from the GT3 will also be used as well as the seats. The wheels are 19" Aoshima TE 37. Don't know the color choice yet. |

I decided to go wingless and integrate a scoop into the headrest piece, this will take some putty work.
