Perfectly used f1 wheels
Hi Guys,
First post & wondered if you have any top tips for producing a perfect looking racing tyre that is slightly worn after running a few laps. I didn't want to start straight away with fine sand paper for fear of ruining the tyres on my Tamiya Lotus 78. Secondly, for tyre sponsor. I have a steady hand so i'm going to paint these in. For appropriate wear, would it be best to paint them off white & carefully drybrush/Q-tip with black or grey. Thanks in advance Steve - UK |

Sandpaper is the way to go though, just make sure you sandpaper too one direction, that will look the best. And for the paint on the tires, start with white, and the higher you get, mix it with some darkgrey. Very difficult though, but will look awesome if you have the skills you say you have!
