Those wheels and tail-lights are definitely from the F512M, and it does have a testarossa engine. Did someone just decided to rebody one?

Oh yeah! That red one is the one that I've seen before. I don't know why they looked like 2 different cars to me ![]() |

hm.... well the rear is awfully nice looking, but the front end, i mean what were they thinking, its like a combo between a NSX and a Saturn styled car.

I believe that there were 3 made. They are custom one-offs made by Ferrari/PininFarina based on the 512 TR/F512 M. I believe that the Sultan had 2 at one time. The blue one pictured was bought out of the Sultan's collection and is now on display at the Marconi Automotive Museum in California...according to the Marconi museum website, it's the only one in the world, but that's not right... that is the extent of my limited knowledge of these cars.

Because they were made for the Sultan of Brunei I think there must be 12, because he often get special cars and most times there were 12 cars in different colours shipped over to him.

I've also heard that it had a Williams sequential gearbox, which is worth around $1 alone. Ofcourse I can't confirm anything.

That totally jogged my memory... I had an issue of Forza that they featured the blue FX that's in the Marconi Museum... It does have williams gear box in it... you can see the paddles behind the steering wheel in the 4th pic of post #15... green for up shift and red for down shift...
EDIT: and there's no way that there are 12 of them... I don't recall how many there are, but I know it's in the single digit range...
