That's the whole point of heel & toe driving, so one can brake down into a corner, gear down early and have the engine in the right rev band for the gear so as to not put unneccessary wear on the clutch.

It's more for preserving the gearbox and not to upset the car....as driveline jerk also does the same thing to rear wheel....its the same reason why system like SMG or DSG blips the throttle on the downshift...

Not only for preserving the gear box, try and shift down and not reving high first in a car with a big engine, you know what hapens.. the moment your raise the clutch the rear wheels lock up because the engine as more force than the wheels have contact with the road, and you definetly don΄t want that.

For FAST driving - coz who CARES about the gearbox - it's about preserving the correct weight balance and controlling the weight trasnfer to initiate/control under adn oversteer as necessary

...if only it would be in English...
...and if it had real drivers...
...other than that, it's good but not great...

It's not a tutorial or something, just a race... Who cares about the language

Yes, all of them have at least some racing experience, most of them have been in professional competition. They are all top rate drivers. Great vid btw, thank you.
