Went Autocrossing in my Viper

http://www.peatpics.com/public/gallery/album19

It was a great time. And I think I did good for my first time. It's very hard to control the viper at such low speeds as it loves to oversteer. Probably not the best car for autocross LOL. Couldn't hardly get on the throttle at all. But I will be getting some stickier tires for next time Kumho V700s and report back.

Woo, 3 wheel action! http://www.peatpics.com/public/gallery/auto-x/DSC_7109e

Looks like fun. I see lots of E30's. How'd that Buick GSX do?

Yeah, even a Chevy truck and a go-cart(I think). An Elise would be nice for autocrossing. The Viper is the most eye-catching, nice photos.

I'd imagine a real handful preventing it understeering on the twisties too with all the power pushing the rear along, no ??

Thanks. We don't really get them in Finland.

A little especially if I wen't in too hot. But what really bothered me is that I couldn't get on the gas at all without the rear end stepping out. Hopefully new tires will help me with that.

Autocrossing is a lot of fun, starting the new season in a few weeks here, w00t. At a race last year a neon hit the e-brake going around a hairpin got up on the front left wheel only, about a foot of air in the back and got booted for the day for doing it .
