TVR Magentis: My Invention

As many of you already know one of my hobbies is to draw and design cars, and i hope to take it on in the future to gain a career in automotive design. I only have a select few designs scanned onto my PC so i dont post that many on UCP. The only ones you may have seen are the carrera gt drawing and the Aston Martin DB10 concept.

My latest idea was of a new TVR, to be the sister of the new Sagaris.

I called it the Magentis Speed six

Performance would be as follows:

Engine: Straight 6 (same engine as used in the Sagaris)
Engine Location: Front , longitudinally mounted
Gearbox: 6 speed Manual
Drive: Rear wheel drive
Magentis: 380 bhp @ 7000 rpm. Magentis S: 420 bhp @ 7200 rpm
Top Speed: Magentis:186 mph Magentis S: 199 mph
0-60 mph Acceleration: Magentis: 4.0 s Magentis S: 3.5 s

A quick sketch is attatched to help you imagine what the Magentis would look like. Tell me what you think

A very interesting concept.

I think the name needs a bit more consideration.
Kia Magentis?

As for the sketch - it is a bit narrow, and you can see a bit too much of the rear overhang, other than that its quite good.

Pretty good concept, are those engines out of the Tuscan?

Try some sort of legendary, preferably ancient Greek beast
Griffith - almost a Griffin
Chimeara - monster with lots of heads IIRC
Cerbera - almost Cerberus
Tuscan - a vicious Toucan
T350 - Errr Tesco?
Tamora - Queen of the Goths
Sagaris - Some sort of battle axe
Typhon - Some sort of Greek monster - described thus: "Typhon's hundred, horrible heads touched the stars, venom dripped from his evil eyes, and lava and red-hot stones poured from his gaping mouths. Hissing like a hundred snakes and roaring like a hundred lions, he tore up whole mountains and threw them at the gods". Yes, that sounds about right...

The Sagaris is propelled by the same 4 litre 400 bhp engine as the Tuscan S, and the Magentis uses the same engine as the Sagaris, so yes

yeah the actual sketch isnt supposed to be a true-to-life drawing of the actual car, i intended it to be slightly abstract using the flowing lines and the shape of the car. If the car were to be made think of it as a cross between a tuscan and a sagaris.
