nopassn's CAR-Toons...

A little something I've been toying with lately... converting media pics in to "cartoons" for lack of a better word... lemme know what you think...

Not a bad job, any chance of making your yellow a bit more vivid?

much better thanx
Maybe it just looks weird because of the TFT screen on the laptop and the angle at which i can look at it can vary quite a bit.
Have you done any more cartooning?

Yeah, I've got a side shot of an F430 (lemme dig it up) and I've got one of a 360 CS that's a front 3/4 shot (it's on my PC at home though...)

here is another one I did of the F430 (note, the tire is original, I just "kept" it...)

yeah, I'm working on getting more detailed... but, of course, the more detail the longer it takes to "draw" and fill/shade...

Depending on the car and the detail between 2 and 5 hours (estimated) I do them when I'm working, so I'm not working on them non-stop... but if I were to add the time just working on it, 2-5 hours is a pretty good estimate I think...

I have no idea on where to find a tutorial, I just kinda "sorted it out" myself

here is an earlier one I did, solid colors, no shading...
