definatly

with no turbos they have got exactly 100bhp/litre
which is brilliant. and im sure that it will challenge the enzo and even beat it

until that is they make the Enzon Challenge Stradale.

if the lamborgini challenged the zonda on top gear earlier on, then im sure this will seriously make other car manufactures up their games aswell. which is why im not complaining

I wonder where things will be in 10 years time with this horsepower war.
When the Diablo came out in the early '90s it had 500hp and it was top of the pops.
Now the "baby Lambo" has 500hp and they're planning to make it 550 on the SV Gallardo.
I understand that horsepower sells, but I can't imagine a baby Lambo with 700bhp and a pricetag similar to today's (plus inflation).
Maybe it's time to move the competition to other areas, like reducing weight (1500+ kg dry is too much) or fuel consumption or sth like that.
It's getting rather silly, as with all this increasing horsepower and standard road tyres, the only difference between 600 and 700 hp is the accelleration after 200 km/h. (Before 200, they're spinning - only exaggerating here to make a point)

Very good... They would do this right at the beginning and name it just "Murcielago". And now produce "Murcielago SV" with more bhp/liters.)))

Now theyve made the SV do you think they'll revive other variants of other cars such as VT or GT? I cant wait to see this Lambo in action .. think the power hike will make it sound more "Lambo"?

I have a hard time believing all of this since there's not any mention of it on any Lamborghini or VW media sites.

its all well and nice making it upto 650hp and everything, but why didnt they just leave the murcielago as it was and think up a new design for the 'ultimate lambo' which would be right up there with the TOP supercars like the CCR. The murcielago was dismissed from being a hyper-car soon after its release, its never been considered one of the fastest cars in the world because there are so many that beat it. So why didnt they just leave it in its place? I'm pretty bored of the murcielago its time for a new lambo king

Lamborghini have been talking about their plans for the future to just about anyone who asks for the last year or so.

I don't think there is anything suspicious about it.

Yes an even an Espada replacement, but they are currently hard at work updating their current models, so those projects have been delayed/cancelled.
