its a horridly done 930 slant nose conversion, i.e. taking the late 70's 911 turbo (930) and putting an aftermarket slant nose on it, there were factory slant noses but they looked better wand were very rare

its pretty horrible looking

Totally.

This 911 Slantnose looks far better if you ask me. It has a 500ish hp V8 in the back, just for the record.

Chevy small block conversion done by Renegade Hybrids. They're an awesome company, specializing in all kinds of GM V8 Porsches. Definitely not for the purists/fanboys, but whatever, works for me

Wow! Was reading about the weight distributions etc. per their claims....didn't seem to change much... so no adverse handling effects.

Still, it just doesn't look right, it's like a drug induced dream or something surreal.

Yeah, the weight "issue" is mostly based on false assumptions. The V8 actually weighs less than the original flat-6. Now of course you have to add the weight of the radiator (etc) because it's not aircooled, but that weight is added to the front. Transferring weight to the front of a 911 is never a bad thing

Some guy did a V8 swap including an custom integrated 3-radiators/spoiler thing, and it all still ended up lighter than the stock engine.
