My 71 Ford Mustang Mach 1
I got it two years ago from some jahovas witness way out in oklahoma. Its got the 351 Cleveland 2v V8 and an automatic. Yes, when its done its going to be the same piss yellow color and the interior is going to be the nasty shit brown it is now. First thing I did was get a set of Australian 2v heads, nothing beats em for street performance, next thing, as soon as I muster up the money, will be a webber setup.

My dad sold his '71 Mach 1 429 just a few years ago. It was a great car. Those mustangs sure are fun!

Everyone I tell this to calls me crazy but, here goes... NO, no visual or interior mods at all. I'm going to build the engine into a 408 stroker, raise the compression, and hopefully get around 450-500hp out of it below 6000rpm. A C6 transmission, and stiffer suspension will follow after I get another job. The car will remain the undesirable "medium-yellow-gold" with "ginger" interior, or as I like to call it, piss yellow with shit brown insides. There are stripes to put on these and a black out hood treatment but to be honest I prefer the "plain-jane" look. The wheels will be painted body color with center hubcaps. Like the white car in the picture below. Bet you wouldn't guess that car has 375hp and turns 12.20 ET's at 114mph! I want mine to be just as unassuming. So fiero your dad sold a 429 Mach 1 a few years ago? What color was it and did it have ram air and a 4spd?

i'm normally a big muscle car fan, and even though i'm holden fan i love 'stangs, but GOD DAMN thats ugly. I mean, i'd wanna make it fast, so people didn't have to look at for long.(kinda like the m6 a bit) But your choice, sounds like you gotta a good plan for what you want, so good luuck

Its not the best color by a grand canyon sized margin but when prettied up it looks better than in the photo because the picture is after 18 years of exposure.
