nopassn - broadcasting from Monterey
that's right car freaks... it's "car week" in Monterey. Haven't seen anything earthshattering, and no pics, as of yet. but here is what I have seen thus far:
Vanquish - silver 360 Spider - light blue 360 Spider - red a couple of M5's several M3's a 550 Maranello - in TdF blue several beers no car pics, but I do have a pic of me hanging out with the beers

Coming back from dinner tonight we saw a black Carrera GT parallel parked on Cannery Row... pretty PHat ride to be parking alongside a busy street... alas, it was dark, and I was driving and didn't feel like jacking with stopping and getting the camera out... sorry guys...

Made a run down highway 1 yesterday from Monterey to San Simeon (sp?) - about 100 miles... I've gotta say, highway 1 from north down to Monterey is nice - but Highway 1 south to San Simeon is HELLA AWESOME - a GREAT drive. saw a couple of cool cars on the drive yesterday... a silver Continental GT, a black Continental GT, a Ford GT - white with blue stripes, and a black Phantom... still haven't seen a Ferrari yet - but I think that will change today, as we're headed to the Monterey Jet Center to see the Christie's auction goods (read: Ferrari Breadvan, s/n 2819) - I'm SUPER EXCITED! more to follow...

nopassn is now broadcasting from home... getting ready to go to bed now, been a HELLA long week... anyway, I would have to say that the highlight of the week was getting to meet the head guy at Christie's and the owner of the Breadvan... I talked to them for quite some time on Wednesday, and then it happened, the owner said that I should get in it and have a look see... he had to give me a "tutorial" first, as the body skin is so thin that you can use it to support your weight... anyway I finally got all shoe-horned in and it was RIDICULOUS - I couldn't sit up, I couldn't extend my legs... but OH SO COOL!!! pics are downloading from my external hard drive, should be up in the morning....
EDIT: Speedracer38 - alas, there was no FXX there

They had a huge tent set up at Pebble before the show, that was invitation only - that must have been what was in there - DAMN IT!!!
