What exactly happened? Everything seemed to just blur out for awhile there, and it kind of looked like he flipped over.....?

He had a suspension failure in the back. Not the best way of getting out of the race... Also the 996 BiTurbo by Alzen had a big crash in that race because of a blown tire.
Those cars aren't 996 GT3's by Porsche, the teams build them theirselves! The Alzen Porsche has got two Turbos, Allwheeldrive and around 700hp (inofficial rumors), the Land Porsche (shown in the vid) twowheeldrive, no turbo (as far as I know) and around 550hp (inofficial). They are specially built and prepared for the Nordschleife.
