Piacki_117:

For the car: 3/10,
For the shot: 6/10

Total: 9/20 = 4.5/10.

You've had sooooo much better!

Anyway, I'm officially an SM now; and to go with it I've got myself a new avatar...Italy may be nice, but it's not TVR. Blackpool FTW!

Like so? (Does it get a new score now? )

I don't know what / who your avatar is (and therefore understand it's significance)...so I can only give it a 5 as it doesn't have that much of a "Wow!" factor to it...Sorry.

Yeah, I'm afraid the original pic isn't big enough to allow that (it was part of a .PDF of EVO magazine's review of the Tuscan 2 S from TVR's website)

...I wish I had a larger version of that shot for a wallpaper slide!

what do you use for your resizing? paint works ok, but photoshop does the best job of maintaining resolution. you dont even need that high of a res to get a good one.

my method for that would be to blow it up really bin in acrobat, then snapshot it, and paste it into a 200x90 canvas in PS. then shrink it until you get a good size. thats just me.

oh yeah, welcome to the club. iits nice here. (except for rocke)

I guess this will be my avatar for a while, I don't know if I'll renew my supporting membership.

I use a Mac, what's this quaint "Paint" thing then?

I use Photoshop 8 CS. I saved the PDF as a .JPG picture, opened it in PS, cropped it and then saved it with the best image quality possible. How do you set a canvas size and would it make any difference compared to what I did? I'm still new to using PS...need time and practice. I'd love to be able to chop.

Lol, thank-you. After battling with the Dutch Paypal pages, I can safely say that it was worth the effort. Mass save of images rocks and I've been waiting to use this avatar pic (and others) for ages!

To johnnynumfiv: 9/10. Love it. My favourite Camaro and a true Mustang rival. If only we could see a slight bit more of it without losing the athmospheric "shadowiness" of the picture.

youre using a mac.. thats your problem. i know, my wife has one. its great for anything other than real computer stuff.

but open a new file, and when it asks for image size, put your desired size in there. the past the whole file in there. move and shrink as necessary.

What do you mean by "real" computer stuff? Nowadays a Mac can do literally EVERYTHING a PC can and a whole lot more (what kind of Mac does your wife use?)...

...much fear I sense in you. Become a slave of the dark side, you have. /yoda

Sorted, thanks! I was just opening the images in PS, then cropping them - a harder thing to do.

she has a macbook that i bought for her for xmas. it works for her needs, but i havent loaded any programs that i would want to use. i don't particualry like the OS as a whole though, there are some good aspects, but i dont like the file organization, and its not nearly as logically organized.

I'm afraid none of that is the fault of the computer, how can you expect to be able to do "real" stuff without the necessary programs? It's like me telling you to go and sail to the Middle East without a vessel. When forced to use a Windows computer (like at a friend's if I don't take mine), it feels like I've gone back in time, I get frustrated because everything is more awkward, fiddly and more time consuming than using my computer.

The beauty of a Mac is that you can organise it in any which way you want! If it isn't "logically" organised for you (I find it a LOT more logical than Windoze out of the box), then change it! You can change just about anything.

Living the good life in Antarctica.
9.3/10

It would score higher with a better resolution and perhaps a border. Congrats on the premium membership.

I'm sorry, but you get a 0/10 on grounds of personal bias. I hate dipset, and every rapper in it, they're terrible
