illu's back!

i just finished my 1st 3D render, 5 spokes!

i think it depends on how big (the rim) ur working with, the bigger it is
the more detail i guess very confusing program

Don't OZ use a 3d program to design their rims?

Not bad for a first go, next ones you should make a bit more complex.even if it is jsut 5 spokes.

here is one of my early attempts using Pro-E, i like the classic five spoke look, i wanted to try somethin different

yah i dindnt know how to take my part and save it as .jpeg. so i resulted to an "easier" method.

I like them Illu, though Rockefella is right, the spokes look very thin. Could you taper them out a bit nearer to where each spoke meets the rim? Maybe dish them in slightly too, like the MOMO Arrows..

I think all rims manufacturers do. The computer is nowadays a great thing to see the result without having to make a prototype.
