Photo manipulation help wanted

One of the magazines I write for is doing a retrospective on the 550 and 575 in GT racing (Le Mans 06 here I come!), now that the 599GTB has been unveiled and will undoubtedly succeed the 575 in the next couple of years.

We would like someone to have a go at 'making' a 599 GTB GTC (as it were), a GT racing version of the new Ferrari, to publish in the mag as 'an artist's impression'. Let me know if you think you, or someone you know could help out.

Just out of curiosity, what magazine is this for? I take it it's not a huge one because they normally employ their own artists. Anyone who has the time and skill, this would be an excellent thing for your CV/Portfolio.

I'd rather not list the magazine publicly as I don't want to be traced back to the mag I edit (for the same company) - I want to be able to continue to say whatever the hell I want on here! But, your assumption is right - it's not a big mag, is dedicated to Italian cars and yes, it would be rather good for the CV.

I hope you understand why I don't want to say what magazines I work for.

I understand why.
What sort of time period are we looking at? How long would we have to get it done?
BTW, just wondering what country you're based in

We're based in the UK. Don't start it yet, because we haven't got the rest of the feature organised, and I wouldn't want you to spend hours on it to be told the feature's been canned! As for timescale, the issue will probably be September/October time.
