Formula 1 Barcelona Testing Video

Here's a vid of some Formula 1 cars testing this past week in Barcelona. It's amateur footage so it's a little bit shakey, but not too bad really.

You get a good impression of the sound of the new V8s, and it's not all that great I'm afraid.

They all sound a little bit, I dunno, "whiney". Not quite the same piercing, savage sound of the old V10s. The McLaren especially sounds a bit weedy, with the Ferrari having probably the most impressive engine note.

Thankfully they're still all BLOODY LOUD though!
