roBc: 'Ferraris' at Goodwood'

I started a sketch yesterday called 'Ferraris' at Goodwood' (based on a photo i took) and have spent 4 hours on it so far. i will update everytime i do a decent amount on it. I think i will ruin it when it comes to shading as i am absolutly crap at it!

Please criticise it and make suggestions!

Cheers!

PS - if there are any awesome artists out there please give me hints and tips for example- should i have shaded it all in 1st and then do detail and highlights/ lowlights?

please let me know!

great, just fill up the rear wheel arch of the GTO a little more, wheels look too small now...

Can barely make it out. Needs colour or edges need to be defined. I would definitely shade it if you aren't already intending on doing that. Make a photocopy or something and practice shading techniques on that so you don't cock up the original

(you can make it out a bit better if you opy it to paint and invert the colours)

i was just about to say you should do that.....
also for the pillars above the wheel on the GTO those need some lines and other various detail lines on the car

update #2 - 6 hours - as promised- started colouring ( my first ever attempt at colourng - i think it shows). I havent pressed down hard enough as it is grainy and the lines need to be more defined and sharpened but that will be different by my next update!.

cheers!

Keep going. But a tip from a pro. Never colour unless you know how.
