The new Audi RS6

the next generation RS6 is expected to get an upgrade and be fitted with a twin turbo V8, but it will be topped by the extreme RS6 which will have a slightly de-tuned 5.0L V10 from the lambourghini Gallardo. this V10 will also be used in Audis upcoming supercar the Le-mans quattro and will provide some competition for BMW's upcoming V10 M5.
The new S6 has got a longitudinal mounted engine, wishbone front suspention and a complex multi-link rear axel on both fornt and all wheel drive options. the new S6 will have the ML ( manual longitudinal) transmition which allows the engine to be further back in the car, or perhaps allows the front wheels to be placed further forards.
The S6 will have 5 different engines with a 355BHP 4.2 liter V8 at the top end. there will also be a 255BHP 3.2 L fsi V6, 177BHP 2.4L V6, and two diesel models, a 225BHP 3L TDI and a 140 BHP 2L TDI. All of the new models get the new 6-speed manual or 6-speed auto box with the option of a multi-tronic box as well.
The quattro all wheel drive is standard witht the 4.2L and the 3.0L TDI.
