New camera!!

Ahh...

I bought a new digital camera today..
And i bought the Canon EOS 350 D with the ef-s 18-55 lens.. Have tryed some pics now.. But it's completely diferent from my old minolta dynax 505 si (slr)..
So it will take some time to get into taking nice pics with the new one..
Anyone else got the 350 D?
Have heard alot of good critics, but nice to hear someone elses thoughts

The lens is already coming to short though.. as I'm used to a 28-80mm and a 70-300mm lens on the old minolta.. so I guess I will not stop using the old one quite yet.. until I can afford some good lenses for the 350 D..

Here is some test pics I took

why didn't you just buy a Minolta 5D or 7D, or wait til the new Sony comes out in a month or so? You can use your 28-80 and 70-300 with that too....

So the choice came on a new type..

Nice, I got myself a slightly used Canon Poweshot G5 last friday for a good price. The EOS 350 D was a bit out of my pricerange... I've been so eager to try it out outside, but there's been nothing but rain until today.

the 350D is much to plasticy for me, and the viewerfinder is disgusting. It's definately an interesting choice changing systems from KM with Sony about to go nuts with the Alpha range

Had any problems? Read that the early ones had some serious issues

I got 30D about a month ago Very-very happy with it. A lot of advantage over 300D (Digital Rebel) Works a lot better then 300D with L series lenses.
