I found this picture recently, andit totally caught me off-guard, since I rarely come across a car that I really have never seen and have no idea the identity of (referring to the car on the right, not the Aston). any thoughts?

^^ It looks really familiar. I can't recall the name, but if it is what I think it is, there was a one page article in Car and Driver some time ago. If I recall correctly, it's powered by a Harley-Davidson motor.

It's a TVR prototype, called "White Elephant" - a Wedge model fitted with a Holden V8 engine. It was build in 1986 when the old Rover V8 failed to meet new pollution regulations. First idea was to use a Ford V8 from Mustangs, but it was too heavy. Holden then proposed their 5,0 V8. The prototype was build but eventually the redesigned Rover V8 passed the new regulations and the project was abandoned.

Yes, it´s an Armstrong Siddeley. But what model and year? I guess it a Sapphire but then still I´m not sure about year.
