I have a feeling that it is an oldsmobile or pontiac. The arrow on the bonnet is not typically Chevy. I have no access to reference material at the momnet though

As much as I admire and respect you and your knowledge, I'm gonna have to go ahead and say you're wrong. The car in question is definitely a 1954 Chevrolet. Compare with this ad: the toothy chrome grille, the shape of the badge at the front of the hood, the side trim, and even the jet-like hood ornament are all consistent (there are some differences, but the yellow car is a 210 (with some bits missing) and the one in the ad is an uplevel Bel Air). Additionally, the second picture I've attached is a 1955 Chevrolet hood ornament.

ok, i dont have a pic of this car... but its one i saw on tv a few years ago, and apparently my mother saw one the other night.

it is a motorcycle, of sorts. it is covered and seats 2 in tandem. it has 2 wheels on arms on each side that lower when it comes to a stop. then when it starts off again, they raise up.

anybody got any ideas, pics, anything?

I'm not quite sure if this is even remotely what you are referring to but, its worth a shot.

The Peraves MonoTracer or the Teca Concept?

Maybe a Campagna or a Grinnall?

Campagna: Campagna T-Rex

Grinnall: Grinnall Scorpion S4

First one is a '67 Fiat Dino (hence the licence plate )
Third one looks like some kind of Olds, maybe a 442.

If that license was not a legitimate customized license then it would be illegal right?
