Hmmm,
I don't have the answer - just some observations -
The photography looks very typical of Italian coachbuilder ads of the late 1950's - early 1960's.

The nose of the car has some Peugeot lines to it and Pininfarina did some work for Peugeot, but I'm not convinced that is what this is - especially since I would have expected to see a Pininfarina emblem on the flank if they had done this. The wheels look more Italian (Fiat-like).

I'll be curious to learn what it is.

There's something that looks similar to that very emblem, behind the lower door..

Never saw both of them. The Bug comes from a famous (and shitty) italian magazine.
Probably I can find the name.

I believe it's a real car, or at least scale model. Here's "Quatroruote" story:

Google Translate:

The history of this car at the Geneva Show back in 1999, when Hartmut Warkuss, then head of Volkswagen Group Design, meets Walter de'Silva, recently in Seat after his work at Alfa Romeo, and announced that Ferdinand Piech, the "big boss", is expecting a proposal on the topic Bugatti coupe, the fireball, which should make to revive the glorious past few years bought by the Germans.

De'Silva at that time was busy with the Seat Salsa Concept (a car workshop which should define a new deal for the Spanish brand has long been searching for an identity), but then how do you say not a piece? Then de'Silva accepts and begins to work. In a few months the work is completed, the result is that you can see is the car for the first time in these three images, now ten years old.

This "secret Bugatti" is characterized by a shield full in front, which appeared only on rare Bugatti (usually the shield and trunk), and by opening doors to elitr, as on the most famous Lamborghini. It is not only a model of style, but a real prototype, complete with everything, both inside and outside, with the exception of the engine. Only a "yes" the separation of mass production, but for reasons of cost, opportunity and also for the very bold design, the project was preferred in favor of the Veyron.
Currently the "Bugatti secret" is closed in some museum somewhere or a box, away from prying eyes, "a prisoner of her beauty that time can not scratch." But it is said that this story can have a happy ending, in fact, now that the car was unveiled by Quattroruote, maybe, in honor of the centennial of the House, we will show live, fans of the brand.
