I eventually found something interesting to do in my town : Porsche 959 spotting

I was coming back from the train station (I was supposed to go to Paris but a tramp commit suicide so all the trains were cancelled) when I saw... THIS! A red Porsche 959. At a Renault dealer near the commercial centre. Awesome. Amazing.
Sorry the pics are crappy, because that dumb dealer doesn't open on Saturday.

Now for the 1 million dollar question.. is it a real one, or a 911 with a bodykit?

It is a real one. 99% sure. Or a VERY VERY well made body kit.

Only time I saw a 959 in person was Ralph Laurens at the Boston Art Museum when his cars were on display. Sadly it will probably be the only time I ever see a McLaren F1, Porsche 959, or a Ferrari 250 GTO in person in my life.

Yeah, it's real for sure. The wheels have a single locking hub

It's a magnificant piece of automobile history, I even wish to see 911s with 959 bodykits here, not to mention the real one.

Actually.. some quick investigation shows they seem to have black door handles, and the central plate in the rims are smaller because they only have to house one nut, as you say. See the attached..

It's a really good kit, but not good enough!

how does a 959 end up at a renault dealer. either the owner traded it in for a bunch of renaults or hes (most likely) probably the owner of that dealership
