no its not, i've taken several shots from that angle and those gates and fence suck...
there is no chance that its a nicer shot then one of them either going around a bend or just standing on one.

It's expensive to set up for a stationary pic on the track as you have to pay for access on one of the closed days.
EVERYONE has pics of photos of cars going round.
Looking at the location of the camera and the likely field-of-view I suggest your evaluation is wrong and it WILL make a good shot for such low cars.
At least it down't fall in to the many cliched shots of the 'ring.

You don't need to. Browse the webcam log, click on up to three images and then at the bottom left there's a text box you can click to send the basket. Enter your e-maill and they send you the images to your inbox Dead easy.

Some interesting sightings today:

1- Passat R36 and I think it's a Jaguar XF parked behind it
2- Donkervoort
3- Old Ford Mustang but the interesting one is the car alongside it, what is it? Looks like a Ford GT40 but it's open and has those scissor doors.
4- Renault 5 Turbo

Im surprised nobody caught the AvD Historic Grand Prix on it on 8th of August. The drivers parade was awesome.

A pity i didnt see a Alto on here as well I expected better from you guys By the way, 12min 41sec 76 was my best time.

I'm trying to find myself in my UCP shirt Will post shots of the "ground view" here soon.

edit: cant find myself on the shots. Only one might be me, but thats too far to be clear.

I had to leave unfortunately at 15:40-ish because of a really whining and sick(fever) girlfriend. But still it was pretty nice she joined me along.. Next day was better, I spent all day on the GP track with my father.
