Ducati 1098S

The new Ducati 1098S is in my opinion one of the nicest bikes out on the market today. People are getting their deliveries now and the bike sounds astonishing. Here is the link to the official site: http://www.ducati.com/en/bikes/my200...el=SBK1098S-07

Here is the link to the forums just in case you want more pictures and just thought I would throw it out there for any bike fans. Thanks again to Rev for the advice. http://www.1098-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=765
Video of the sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQUIh9UAIJ8
Can't wait until the Desmosedici RR comes out.

I've seen a couple articles about this bike. I didn't hate the 999 like some people, but this is still a huge step. And it just sounds completely raw!

that is such a sexy bike...

it seems to me that ducati doesn't style the bikes as much as many of its japanese competitors do, they just let the form be dictated by purpose. and in that it ends up beautiful.

Beautiful looking, and the sound and specs back that up. To me though it looks a bit rigid in the rear, I wonder if people taking them out on the track/pushing the limits get much feedback/slide from it? Double exhaust should of been a modified 999R-style affair, but we can't have everything. Rims are amazing too.

If you do a search for Ducati 1098 you'll find this is already posted as well as the full press release and specs.

I don't find the general shape to be any different from a Japanese sport bike. The same general teardrop shape is what I see in both. In any extent, I don't know much about bikes as their four wheeled counterparts, but I still think they're pretty hot.

I can think of at least two bikes that don't look like they come from Japan.

The Triumph Speed Triple and the KTM 990 Superduke(respectively).

Yeah, I see.

The Ducati still looks like a direct relative (stylistically of course) to the Kawasaki Ninja, or the Honda CBR's.

You can pick the suspension set up from a picture?

It's because they're all built to suit the same regulations (World Superbike Championship regs)

Oh, and that sounds awesome! L-twin + Termis =
