A new Fisker in development
![]() What is even more interesting is that the car will be a 4-door sedan with a hybrid (ok, this is so predictable) engine. It is already known that new Fisker is being developed in cooperation with Quantum Technologies, which previously worked with GM. The concept will be shown at NAIAS in January, and previously appointed date of going to market is late 2008 - early 2009. The price will be set at about 100,000, and the estimate amount of cars to be produced is about 15,000 a year. Not bad, Herr Fisker! |

So it's on a completely new platform or are they using an existing base?
Whatever it is, it'll probably be super expensive. |

Looks good, could be good. We will have to wait and see I guess.

I like it, too - very elegant and sporty. And if they really want to produce 15000 cars a year, it could be a strong competitor for Quattroporte, methinks.

A bit, but the Fisker is much sexier.
I guess the owner ran out of BMW's and Mercedes' to base his cars on after he introduced his new model built on the M6 body.

If it didn't have four doors it would remind me of the new maserati coupe.

the shape isn't quite original, but it looks better than the porsche panamera, even if the true shape of the panamera is still unknow. at 100.000 $ you can buy a maserati quattroporte (in italy) and all the german's stuff like 7 series, A8 and S class /CLS amg, so 15.000 units a year is quite a target for a brand new company. looking at what happened with the cayenne (which a really don't like) i fear about the selling numbers of the panamera.
the former fisker's creations were very good and interesting, i will wait for this one too. i found a post on another site the tells that the production will be of 100 unit, at least for the first year.
