there were many kinds of the silvia family.
All these were present - oniva, sil80, 180SX type S's, 180SX type X's, S14 series one and two, S15's and a few S13's

The supra was the source of much amusement through-out the night. He just bought it and hasn't had a chance to change anything yet.

an oneiva is a 180sx front end on an S13 silvia's body. thus 1iva (onevia)
Sil80 is the reverce, with the silvia's nose on the 180's body.

They made 240SX in the N. America with regular trunk(ie not hatched fastback), which is basically a S13 back end....

I think it depends on area and under what names they were sold. We never got the S13 in Canada. The 180SX body was rebadged as a G1 240SX but the front end was changed slightly, though a popular mod is changing the front end to the 180sx front. The S14 Silvia body was called a G2 240SX here. Basically in Canada we didn't have these variations you talk about, everything was 240SX. None of them had the turbo engines.
So yeah, no need to get high and mighty with me. I may not know everything but I know a lot more than you give me credit for. I mean, a simple google image search for "240SX" will show you what I'm talking about and why I said what I said... I also didn't notice the S15s. I'm sorry. Is it okay with you if I come back to the forum?

![]() btw, don't trust the interwebz, and google neither. if a dude posts something on his site writing some wrong information, you are going to read something wrong, without knowing. everyone can make a mistake, no doubt, but they should get informed better before to write it. you can find some errors even on wiki... ![]()
