Well the car may be listed as a 935, but I would believe it to be a 930 or 934 modified from Group 4 specs to Group 5 specs. It is listed as a 935 K1, which means they built it from a Porsche shell. It is a Group 5 modified Porsche 93*, not a factory built 935. But fair enough, it could be referred to as a 935.

Either way, now I am also interested in what this looks like. Can you post the pics that you have?

Here is the best one of the two I have.
http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/b...Mans1976_7.jpg

You can see it doesn't have the curved rear fender of the classic 935. Along with being squared off, it has numerous vents.

Thank you for the link. Yes I did see it. Just a tad small for reference.

From John Starkey: "The Kremer brothers built up this 935, with slotted rear fenders, in their dealership in 1976 and they entered it in the WCM that year. It is effectively, the K1. They used a factory bodyshell, chassis number: 006 00019, and factory parts. If the Works team faltered in 1976, this Kremer car was usually there as a back-up to the Porsche effort."

I'll post some more photos of it later.

Always glad for info. I've got a couple of Starkey's books. His research can be...ummm, "imaginative" I think is the word.
