When you are somebody you buy a Maserati. Or a Lancia.

I think when you're somebody you buy something you know about, something that means more to you than just flash, loud sounds, and speed. You don't buy it for the attention its going to grab, you buy it for the pure automotive joy it brings you. The car would be different for each individual. I guess mine would be a red Ferrari 355 with tubi, because I remember as a kid a guy who had a dark red 355 and it was the first Ferrari I fell in love with.

Maybe in the past. What Maserati today says you're somebody worth knowing? Perhaps the Gran Turismo, but I'm pretty sure that's it.

i liked the video dude, but a car which u can enjoy whilst grabbing everyone's attention is pretty cool. that lambo vs a scuderia would be a tough call
