Twilight - Movie

Anybody looking forward to this movie? I read Twilight and New Moon (second book from the series) and I started the third one a few days ago "Eclipse". The book was excellent, and the second one even better... hopefully they're planning on doing a movie for each book (4 so far).

This is not another Harry Potter by any means, if they get the movies right it should kick ass.

Well I watched that trailer and was not impressed at all.

Read the plot summary on Wiki of the book and didn't think it was anything special either - but I'm not one for fiction these days anyhow.

Maybe it was well written or something but just seems like more teeny-bopper crap to me.

Genre: young adult. I'll pass.

You got it bang on. I haven't heard about this but I could see chicks reading it.

It's like a love story but with vampires!

You can't go wrong with that premise.

It's not as if vampires are overdone anyways.

Yeah, I always thought these were books aimed towards the HS school-girl.

(this coming from someone who reads mysteries aimed towards women)

Oops

I don't know, I think it's great. Book 2 including werewolves and book 3 having a lot more fights just sounds promising. I must admit that it was my wife who got me to start reading it though...

I'm becoming a HS girl!

Yeah, girls love this book. I'm not sure if it's all that great.

Sounds interesting. If it's aimed at girlie groups though, not so sure...

Giggle giggle.

my sister loves this series of books so much that it inspired her to write her own book a couple of months ago. She's getting it published soon. For her sake I look forward to seeing how it works on-screen. Although I think its "rivalry" with harry potter is entirely fanbased and not really justified.

No Nancy Drews?

I used to read The Hardy Boys. A long, long time ago.
