that actually looks quite good (usually these race car converted to road use things don't?)
dunno if it'd be nice to live with though

edit: the 956 schuppan used is still around. i raced it

Much closer resemblance to the race car than his 962CR's that there are several of featured already in Matt's hi-res hideout. Shame these are probably not large enough to warrant being added but for such a rare car i decided they still were worthwhile posting.

yeah, they are a little small, but fantastic pics nonetheless. it would probably be a very interesting, if terrifying, car to drive.

One thing i've only just spotted is the fact the rear facing exhausts have been disconnected in favour of the side outlets (which look to be a later addition rather than as it left Schuppan).

If you happen to see it out on the road i'd be sure to stand well back from the roadside unless of course toasted lower legs is something you've always wanted.

How much did it cost new? How much power does it make?
I'd want to drive it at La Sarthe. I'd bet most tracks this side of the Atlantic are a bit too cramped for me to feel safe in a thoroughly insane car.

Perhaps there wasn't enough room for the cats if the exhaust went straight back, to get themselves a little more space they rerouted the exhausts to the side?

Well, 956s and probably 962 raced in IMSA GTP here so it could work but yes proper stomping grounds would be in Europe - particularly where you mentioned hellcat.

Interesting! Didn't know about this car, it has some differences. I was under the impression that only one was made.

Yep, I think terrifying would be the best word to describe it...
